A Hot House

This is where I found the beautiful nude women in the previous photo.  They were  hiding behind some of these plants.  Maybe they were shy.   But I certainly did enjoy looking at them.  If they could only speak!
There were some wonderful orchids in this room.  But don't think for a moment that it is going to be all flowers all the time around here.  I'm thinking about going down to one of the famous cemetaries in the area later today.  And no I do not see dead people.  Rest assured I do not want to see dead people.  There will be plenty of opportunity for that later.  Hopefully much later.  But there is some pretty amazing art work to be found in one of these places.  The only thing stopping me from going at this point is the fact that I would have to go alone.  Beth is busy.
Maybe I will go anyway.  Maybe I won't. Let's just sit here for a little while and see what happens....

Rays of Energy

Rays of Positive Energy

Posted by davidlind on August 30th, 2007

I was trying to take a picture of this wind chime (or is it wind chimes?) when Beth said to be careful that it didn’t fall on my head. I am so fortunate to have someone nearby who really cares enough to say something like this. And I could make a very long list of the things she does for me because she cares. Hopefully, she could do they same thing. But I doubt her list would be as long. Sadly.

We are all fortunate to be able to explore new places as well. This place made me appreciate life. I think it is the flowers. They send out rays of positive energy. Harry Potter would understand.

A Favorite Spot On Earth

Posted by davidlind on August 30th, 2007

Today I discovered a place that will be one of my favorite on this earth. And it’s very near home! It’s a tree house in the botanical gardens we visited. We had the whole place pretty much to ourselves on this Wednesday afternoon. And I cannot think of a better place to go near summers end.

The tree house was part of an area dedicated to children. We need to bring the grandchildren here soon!

Communion

I am happy tonight because it looks like my reader went out and found a couple of new readers to help him out. And they are looking at stuff that was here a month or two ago. The stuff back there hasn’t become outdated and may even be more interesting than the new stuff. I like to think I’m progressing in terms of blogging skills. But I may very well be wrong.

These new readers must be from the western part of the US or the Pacific regions. Or maybe from India. I love India. It was the home of Paramahansa Yogananda who was a great saint. My son, Zachary, told me a few days ago that he is studying him in his World Religion class. I was thrilled when he told me this. When he was small some of our other family members used to make fun of all this. We sometimes make fun of things we don’t understand. But I will always love Yogananda very much. And India as well. I have never been there. But I have read about it. It seems like a very spiritual place full of people who are actually practicing very hard spiritual lessons every day!

If one of my readers is from India he needs to let me know right away. I would be thrilled. Actually, having a reader from anywhere is wonderful. It’s expensive. But I’m thinking that when we reach eight or ten we may start competitive bidding. But this is a secret for now.

It’s nice having company when you are up blogging in the middle of the night. Everything is quiet here. Beth must have let the dogs out because they started yapping in the back yard and I had to rush out and grab them. Hopefully, they didn’t wake anybody up.

I guess I should post a photo and try to go sleep. Maybe I will dream about India and Yogananda.

This blogging adventure began right around here if you are interested. It seems like a long time ago but it was only back around Fathers Day in mid June. This particular post is located in my other blog at wordpress.org which has a more artistic template these days but is very similar to this one.

Cape Cod Beach

I was visiting family on Cape Cod last weekend. The weather was fanstastic and it made our time at the beach memorable.
